The kids and I drove to Shreveport, Louisiana, to visit our good friends, the Stuermanns, who moved there from Birmingham this summer. We stopped in Jackson, MS, to have lunch with Parker and Kaylee. Lee loved seeing Uncle Parker and even left with a new toy tractor. The kids were wonderful for me in the car and hardly made a peep. When we got there, Lee and Will were so excited to see each other. They slept in Will's room in twin beds and were so cute talking at night before bed. They played as well as any 2 (almost 3) year olds would :) We played in the backyard, went to the park, and played at Megan's dad's pool a couple times. I think the kids' favorite thing was the bubble bath though. They were hilarious! We had so much fun with Russell, Megan, Will, and Avery and miss them here in Birmingham! Lee flew in for a fellowship interview and drove back with us, which was nice having some help in the car. The kids did great on the 7 hour trip!
Not a ton of pictures, as we seemed to have our hands full most of the time :)
