Lee hit a big milestone and said goodbye to his pacifiers! He only sleeps with them so it wasn't like he was walking around with it in his mouth all the time, but he was definitely dependent on it to sleep. He had multiple ones in his bed and had gotten pretty bad about waking up in the middle of the night crying if he couldn't find one of them...a little frustrating for a sleepy mommy. He also kept going in his room and getting up in his bed so he could have them. So, Daddy randomly mentioned one day while we were all sitting in his room that if he threw his "night nights" (as they are called in our house) in the garbage, he could get a fun new toy. Lee 3 was so excited. He started to get down out of bed and walk toward the kitchen. I asked if he wanted to wait until the next day and he said "throw night nights in garbage today!" So funny! Well, he went in the kitchen and threw them in the garbage and Daddy took him to the store to pick out a new toy. He's done great ever since! He asked for them a couple times that night and occasionally over the next few days but has done really well! We're so proud of him for being a big boy!
Fun new Lightning McQueen toy. You shake it and then it's charged and ready to run. He loves it!
